I'm very lucky to live in Farnham, Surrey which is a World Craft Town. In October it gets even more exciting for local craftspeople as we celebrate Craft Month! I'm particularly looking forward to next week-end and the Festival of Crafts at Farnham Maltings. I am going to be teaching two short taster classes on the Sunday. We'll be making an openwork hanging basket - perfect for storing onions or garlic in the kitchen. It's an easy project for beginners and is an ideal place to start if you've always fancied trying basket weaving. Tickets are £28 and include entry to the festival.
